Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is Suggestion Therapy and is a traditional treatment used to help with straightforward problems such as smoking, pre-test nerves, nail-biting etc.  It makes use of the mind’s heightened awareness and susceptibility to suggestions in order to make changes.  This modern method therapy helps with a large range of symptoms and focuses on helping you achieve what you want in life.  Solution Focused Hypnotherapy uses practical, modern and well researched strategies to help you make significant, positive changes in your life, in a relatively short period of time.

I look at what you want to achieve rather than on the problem(s) that prompted you to seek change.  This approach focuses on the present and future and not on the past.  I ask you to consider your preferred future, for instance, what would be better if the problem had improved?  What would have changed?  This enables your possible solutions to become more apparent and we work towards these.

Hypnosis itself reduces anxiety and this is done very simply through relaxation and visualisation, allowing you to focus on the positive aspects of your lives that encourages a shift in perspective.  Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can help with a variety of issues such as:

Your Initial Consultation is an hour and there is no charge for this, all subsequent sessions are up to an hour and the amount of sessions you have vary from person to person and the issues.  Some phobias might be 3 sessions and more depending, and others can be anything up to 8 or much more.  Smoking is 90 minutes and a one off session with top ups, if required.
